The Realm of Freedom

Fundamental to our work is what we call the diamodernist Philosophy that we represent and stand for.
The expression of this is ultimately a common program – that of a world republican socialism:
We try to shape democratic law, communist production and cosmopolitan organization intellectually in this spirit – each in our own way and not always in the most direct way.

The topics on this site deal with politics, economics, psychology, philosophy, science, religion, love, dreams, horror and criticism - but always under the sign of artistic expression.

But artistic expression also means this:
As political – albeit socially entangled – beings, rationality and analysis are at the forefront of our minds as the foundations of our criticism.
This is especially true where they promote enlightenment, i.e. try to lead people of every class out of a state of social immaturity. However, in CM the focus is always on the creative shaping of our thoughts.
This inevitably leads to irritation of the audience in the artist’s absolute autonomy.

Associative subjectivity, objective conceptual work, and metaphysical intuition, as well as unwieldy styles and unresolved affects, intertwine in the open play of images and texts. Unfortunately, didactics and clarity often fall by the wayside.
So we don't actually expect to be understood at all times, even though we consider ourselves to be entirely understandable.
